SAN – a Storage Area Network tutorial

Have you heard of a SAN, storage area network? These are great systems for providing file access and storage to lots of people and servers, while offering much of the data backup capabilities inherent in RAID setups. This tutorial, while a few years old, is a great introduction to the ideas, hardware, and software that go into making a SAN.
